Having completed a degree in Dentistry (University of Sydney) and Nanotechnology (University of NSW) with honors, Dr. Manoharan believes all dental experiences should be completely pain free and enjoyable for both the patient and the dentist. With a special interest in Pediatric Dentistry and Oral Surgery, her calming manner and attention to detail makes her an invaluable part of Be Pain Free Dentistry and The Hive. Knowing that the only way to provide optimal care to her patients is by keeping up to date with the ever-changing field of dentistry, she is constantly attending courses to add to her qualifications. Since graduating from the Bachelor of Dentistry, she has returned to Sydney University to further train in Orthodontics. She is also accredited with Invisalign to provide clear aligner treatment and has completed the BOSS Orthodontic Course in addition to this.
She has also undertaken training in minor oral surgical procedures such as surgical wisdom tooth removal and implants both in Australia and in India. She was invited back to Sydney University in a teaching position as a Clinical Educator in the discipline of Oral Surgery which she undertook from 2016 to 2019.
She inaugurated her dental clinic (Be Pain Free Dentistry) in Chester Hill in 2016, and has now expanded to a second location in Pendle Hill (in The Hive: Specialist and Dental). Be Pain Free will be actively seeing patients in The Hive from June 2019 onwards. Be Pain Free Dentistry and Dr Manoharan are focused on preventive dental care and positive dental experiences.
Sangeetha volunteers at many events within the community. She also visits preschools, kindergartens and childcare centres as part of Be Pain Free’s Oral Health Outreach program where she ensures children learn about the importance of oral health and how to maintain their oral hygiene in a fun and interactive way. In her spare time, she enjoys classical Indian dancing, song writing, reading and spending time with her friends and family.
